# Medication and condition references

```
Medication returns `{ query, rxnorm, fda }`: RxNorm identifiers, ingredients, properties and NDCs, plus FDA metadata and label sections. Inspect `rxnorm.found` and `fda.found`; a successful lookup may have no matching reference. `name` must be 1–120 characters. These are labeling references, not a scored drug-interaction assessment.
Condition returns `{ query, info, papers }`. `info` includes the MONDO identifier, label, definition when available, synonyms, and source links; `papers` contains related research. `q` (or its `name` alias) must be 2–120 characters. A condition lookup failure returns 404, matching the website service.
